From Diana's Desk
A Message from President/CEO Diana Anderson
I love inspiring quotes from smart, thoughtful people. They pack so much meaning into just a few words and motivate us to think and act in noble ways.
Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt was a businessman, soldier, conservationist, and the 26th president of the United States. He challenged everyday citizens to, "Do what you can, where you are, and with what you have."
Through my work at Southwest Initiative Foundation, I have the opportunity to connect with innovative entrepreneurs, dedicated community leaders, enthusiastic educators, sharp students—and so many others. They are doing what they can, where they are, with what they have to make our region vibrant and welcoming.
Here are some of my experiences connecting with the people who impact southwest Minnesota.
