We are so excited to be part of Farmfest again this year! Located near Redwood Falls in the heart of our southwest Minnesota region, this is a fantastic event to celebrate Minnesota agriculture.
Southwest Initiative Foundation has a booth in the same spot as last year, booth number 3504 located in the middle ag tent.
We’re giving free books to kids as a way to promote reading. Interacting with families at the show is such a highlight. We’ll have staff and board on hand to talk about all of our work—including our Keep It Growing farmland giving program.
And, we’re looking forward to Tuesday, when we’ll celebrate Southwest Initiative Foundation Day with our partners at the Linder Farm Network. This year marks Southwest Initiative Foundation’s 30th and the Linder Farm Network’s 40th anniversary. To celebrate both of our organizations, we’re bringing cupcakes to share, while they last, during Tuesday’s noontime ag jamboree! We both have a long history serving southwest Minnesota (and beyond) and are looking forward to the celebration.
