If you’re an educator and aren’t already a part of LYFT Career Pathways at SWWC, you’re encouraged to attend and be inspired! This event is to “LYFT” up what is happening and making connections to support others interested.

The Office of Willmar Community Growth invites you to their 2025 Willmar Martin Luther King Jr. Event to honor the American civil rights leader who dedicated his life to achieving equality for all people. Dr. King's message of peace and justice touched so many Americans, and it continues to inspire many people in our communities. All are welcome to join the event for a time to learn and be reminded of important American history, reflect on valuable teachings that are still meaningful today, and a call to action. 

You're invited to the annual It Begins With Us conference to share stories and hear experiences of community members. Day 1 will be an immersive and interactive Virtual Dementia Tour facilitated by a representative from Minnesota River Agency on Aging. Day 2 will be filled with speakers, panels and keynote speaker Dr. Anton Treuer.
