Two events, which both take place Friday, May 8, focus on developing strong leadership in communities, workplaces and homes. Both are available to attend in the southwest Minnesota region and both are sponsored by Southwest Initiative Foundation.
The Everyday Leader™
The Everyday Leader™ is a live event that exists to develop leaders at all levels who make a difference everyday with the people they serve. This year’s theme—Engagement—will challenge you to take action in your workplace, family and community.
Speakers are Mark Mayfield, V.J. Smith and Bob Bardwell.
The event is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Marshall High School. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Tickets are $50 and available online at or by calling (507) 532-4484.
A follow-up event is set for Friday, Oct. 9.
Leadercast 2015
Leadercast 2015 is a live event with simulcast locations throughout the world.
Locally, the Worthington campus of Minnesota West Community & Technical College is a host site. It can also be viewed from the Granite Falls campus. This year’s focus is The Brave Ones, and attendees will hear from 10 nationally known speakers. Join Leadercast Live in 2015 and explore The Brave Ones, and learn what it means to lead in such a way that create bold cultures, builds faithful employees, and produces high achievement.
This simulcast event is from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Worthington and Granite Falls campuses of Minnesota West Community & Technical College. Registration begins at 7 a.m. Tickets are $99 and available online. You can also connect to a local Facebook page.
