Standing with our Asian American and Pacific Islander Community

Southwest Initiative Foundation believes that dignity and belonging are core human values. We stand against all forms of hatred, racism and discrimination, including the recent racial and gender-based violence in Atlanta. We stand with all members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, especially the more than 4,916 people who call our southwest Minnesota region home—our friends, colleagues and neighbors. We send our care to all in this community who are feeling hurt and fear. We are committed to understanding how we can be supportive and part of the changes necessary to create safe and welcoming communities for all.
