Clean energy resource event hosted by Renville County HRA/EDA, SWIF, CERTs
The Renville County HRA/EDA, West Central Clean Energy Resource Team (CERTs) and Southwest Initiative Foundation are hosting a renewable energy conference Wednesday, March 11, at Max’s Grill, 2425 West Lincoln Ave., Olivia. Participants will engage in a day of clean energy resource sharing and learning. Registration opens at 8 a.m., followed by the conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The 2009 Renewable Energy Conference will explore energy efficiency techniques, new renewable energy technologies and state and federal program incentives. Afternoon sessions will include facilitated small group conversations on community energy models, the exploration of technologies and how to be an agent for change in business, community and home environments.
