Hit "Start" on Your Ideas

Many families in southwest Minnesota celebrated the first day of school this week. Harvest season is here. The Minnesota State Fair is underway.

This time of the year, we’re often in “start” mode.

Maybe now is the time to start thinking more seriously about your business idea, too.

There’s a strong spirit of entrepreneurship here in our region, a passion for working hard and trying new things. If you have ideas for starting or building your business, Southwest Initiative Foundation has tools that can help.

Did you know that we have a website just for supporting businesses? Our Center of Rural Entrepreneurship—known as CORE—website has business planning videos, tools and resources. There are great things to learn whether you want to start, expand or transition out of your business.
