Montevideo Area Community Foundation
Montevideo Area Community Foundation (MACF) was created by a group of local citizens who wanted to encourage a mission of advancing philanthropy in the community. MACF acts as a permanent vehicle to serve the evolving needs of the Montevideo area by supporting existing agencies and programs, but also funding new and creative ideas. MACF focus areas include arts and humanities, community and civic affairs, education, social and economic affairs, historic preservation, health and human services and environmental conservation. MACF is governed by a volunteer advisory board consisting of individuals from the Montevideo area.
