Our vision is a southwest Minnesota where all people thrive. This can’t be realized while fear and hatred persist. We are alarmed and saddened by the presence of hate groups and symbols and hateful actions in our communities. We believe education and civil conversation are powerful tools for building better communities.
The “Building Vibrant and Welcoming Communities: Anti-hate Awareness and Action Forum” was a virtual opportunity to learn together about the white power movement in the U.S., its presence in southwest Minnesota and what it means for our communities – and to discover new ideas and be inspired to take positive action in your own community!
