We enjoyed a great three days at Farmfest this week. Thanks to our donors, friends and partners who stopped by our booth to say, “hello” to our staff. We enjoyed connecting with many people about agriculture and so much more!
And, we made a lot of young people smile as we passed out brand new children’s books! Supporting young families in southwest Minnesota is core to our mission, so it was fun to encourage kids, parents, grandparents and friends to read together.
We also want to say a special thanks to Sandy Ludeman, our former board chair for spending a day with us. Sandy farms near Tracy and has been such a great resource as we expanded our Keep It Growing farmland giving program over the last few years. He and Scott Marquardt, our vice president, were live on the radio talking about our great work.
