- 9,180 books ordered through our Early Childhood Initiative. Book distribution to local libraries, classrooms and families will take place this spring.
- 30 participated in the Feb. 24 session of GOLD College in Phoenix, Ariz. Dr. Lloyd Petersen, SMSU Emeritus Professor of Education will present, “The history that shaped your grandparents — The 20s and 30s.”
- 11 students to complete the first welding program developed by the MOVE LLC and Dunwoody Technical Institute partnership that addresses local employers’ need for skilled welders.
- 5 businesses received loan funds since November 2014, putting us on pace for a record-setting year in Business Finance.
- 4 new funds created by donors in the Montevideo and Granite Falls areas and libraries in Ivanhoe and Lake Benton, giving area donors additional avenues to provide support.
