Mike and Julie Schweiss of Hector have made an incredible investment to create “Roebke’s Run,” an absolutely beautiful horse trail and special event.
I’m not sure I can even begin to appreciate ALL of the work, time and commitment the Schweiss family has put into another BEST kept secret of our region. Roebke’s Run is a special event held twice a year at their rural home and business, Schweiss Doors. In 1 ½ years, the event has grown from 71 horses to 136 horses participating in their show. These horses and their owners are treated to a beautiful cross country trail, stadium jumping and dressage.
I received a firsthand tour from Mike this week and what I saw was amazing–stabling, stadium cross-country course, camping hook-ups, new concession and kitchen with deck, cross country trail, stadium jumping and more. Check out their website for more information http://schweissstables.com.
