Promote Youth and Communities

The Southwest Minnesota Foundation awarded 30 grants totaling over $382,000 to projects that connect youth and communities. These projects helped the Foundation achieve its goals to:

• Improve the lives of our youngest children through the Early Childhood Initiative

• Increase opportunities for youth leadership by partnering with new and innovative programs that demonstrate "best practice" principles

• Build and sustain Child Guide programs that engage youth in extracurricular activities
