Promote Inclusive Communities

In Fiscal Year 2004, 24 grants totaling over $200,000 were awarded to projects that celebrate diversity, promote cultural compentence, and strengthen new immigrant and minority community attachment.

As the Southwest Minnesota Foundation continues to work toward demonstrating its own climate of cultural competence, it gives priority in all grant-making to partnerships that reflect the rich diversity of southwest Minnesota and are intentional about cultural inclusion.
