We host workshops and trainings designed to support the growth and success of nonprofits that serve southwest Minnesota.
Grant Writing Trainings
These sessions will be lead by Deneene Graham, President & Principal Grant Writer, Deneene Graham Consulting, LLC. Registration for each workshop is required and is limited to 30 participants. Please limit registrations to 2 staff person(s) per organization per training session. You do not need to register for all of the sessions in the series; please register for the trainings that will be of value to you and and your organization. Questions? Workshop 1: Grant Readiness

- This workshop will introduce participants to the behind-the-scenes work that needs to take place before writing grant applications.

Workshop 2: Identifying Aligned Prospects
- Thursday, September 19, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Virtual)
- This workshop will take participants through the pathway of locating grant opportunities to deciding which ones they should pursue.

Workshop 3: Writing Competitive Applications
- Thursday, October 3, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (In-person, Redwood Falls Community Center)
- This interactive in-person workshop will introduce participants to the key components of grant proposals. Participants will have the opportunity to work on an actual proposal and get help through one-on-one and peer support.

Workshop 4: Post-award Management and Reporting and Cultivation Strategies
- Thursday, November 14, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Virtual)
- This workshop will introduce participants to the steps they need to take after being awarded a grant and how these steps can foster relationships with funders.

Propel Nonprofits Trainings
We’re partnering with Propel Nonprofits to offer trainings to nonprofits that serve southwest Minnesota. These sessions will be led by Propel staff.
