Meet our new Community Philanthropy Officer, Jeff Vetsch! Jeff will lead and manage the Community Foundation Program and work with other fund partners of SWIF.
Jeff brings a wealth of experience in fundraising, grassroots organizing, and training through his former employment at Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center and Clean Energy Resource Teams. While pursuing a Master’s Degree in community and economic development from Iowa State University, Jeff has been working on a contractual basis for the New London Little Theatre, New London Arts Alliance and the City of New London on its Riverspace project – leading and equipping local volunteers to accomplish their goals.
Jeff lives in New London with his wife, Anne, and their two children. Jeff holds several volunteer leadership positions, including chairperson of the New London Music Festival and secretary of the New London EDA.
Jeff began part-time on Nov. 1, 2015, and will be full-time on Jan. 1, 2016. Please join us in welcoming Jeff to the team!
