In recognition of Global Entrepreneurship Week, SMSU will host the Southwest Start-Up and Business Development Collaboration Forum on Tuesday, November 14 and Thursday, November 16, 2023.

This event showcases entrepreneurs, student entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship student associations, business owners, and the Southwest Minnesota entrepreneurship professional development community in celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Tuesday, November 14, 2023

9 am- 12 pm: SMSU and CEO Student Pitch Competition

1 pm- 3 pm: SMSU Enactus Project Competition, Presentation, and Professional Development Events

Thursday, November 16, 2023

8:30 am- 9 am: Welcome Dean/Provost, Center and SBDC, and SWIF

9 am- 12 pm: Workshops presented by Shateria Smith

• Entrepreneurship Creativity
• Building a Business Idea
• Networking to Build a Network

12 pm- 1:15 pm: Lunch and Keynote

1: 30 pm- 2:30 pm: Area Entrepreneur Discussion Panel

2:45 pm- 4 pm: Speed Networking
