Lake Benton Area Foundation
The Lake Benton Area Foundation helps make the community an even greater place to live, work, and play by awarding grants to worthy organizations and projects through its general endowment. It helps donors achieve their charitable goals and provides the greatest of flexibility by accepting a wide variety of gifts, including cash, stock, property, real estate, retirement plans, and planned gifts. Donors can give to the causes they care most about by giving to existing funds, or creating a new fund within their area of interest.
Organized under the umbrella of Southwest Initiative Foundation, the community foundation is a vehicle for making charitable contributions for the benefit of the community through a permanent endowment fund that enables people to give back and fulfill the dreams for tomorrow. A local advisory board provides oversight and directs how funds will be used for the exclusive benefit of the Lake Benton area.
