Last week, our Youth Energy Summit (YES!) program, which is provided in partnership with Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center near Spicer, was honored by recieving the Environmental Initiative Awards Environmental Education category.
This is a great honor, but what’s especially exciting is that the program impacts so much more than the environment. From leadership and team building to problem solving to technical workforce preparation, YES! is helping young leaders in so many rural communities accomplish great things.
