Mike Rowe of the Discovery Channel’s “Dirty Jobs” and “Mike Rowe Works” spoke to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee about needing to promote skilled trades to meet our economy’s demand and fill a workforce gap. I think it’s an excellent example of why we need to change our mindsets about educating our future workforce.
