About a decade ago, farmer Glenn Krog made a decision that will benefit his community of Lake Benton for years to come. He decided to donate a portion of his farmland to the Lake Benton Area Foundation–one of Southwest Initiative Foundation’s 24 affiliates.
Today, Glenn continues farming the land. In the future, the rental income will support grantmaking in Lake Benton. And it all happens through our Keep It Growing farmland giving program.
