Last fall we told you about Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities and the program in Kandiyohi County schools.
Students of the Kandiyohi CEO (KCEO) program are working on their business plans as they tour local businesses, meet with business owners and learn what it’s like to be an entrepreneur.
The class as a whole will host a fundraising event later this month. Proceeds will become seed money for the students to use in launching their businesses.
Saturday, Jan. 31, KCEO students present “Night in the 20’s” featuring CEO creator Craig Lindvahl as speaker. Lindvahl is a former teacher and has been recognized in the fields of teaching and leadership. He will share how the CEO class got its start and about his new book “Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday.” Tickets for the event and further information is available at KCEO.
