Happy holidays! We are grateful for our partners, supporters and community members today and throughout the year. Together, we’re building a stronger southwest Minnesota where all kids, families, businesses and communities can thrive. Southwest Minnesota artist Brad Hall of Granite Falls created this beautiful linoleum block print and watercolor with inspiration from the rural landscape near his home.
As we get ready to turn the calendar to January, we have a few important notes to share. Our building will be closed the following days:
- Wednesday, December 25
- Wednesday, January 1

About the holiday card artist
Brad Hall is an artist living and working out of a rehabbed nineteenth century church in Granite Falls. He carves linoleum blocks, paints watercolors and combines both mediums. Brad was the first featured artist for Meander Art Crawl in 2004, and he has co-created a calendar with Andy Kahmann, an artist from Montevideo, for Meander every year since 2008. Two of our staff Meandered through the Upper Minnesota River Valley this year and were excited to find “Snowy Trail,” for this year’s foundation holiday card. Brad’s inspiration for much of his art, including “Snowy Trail,” comes from right outside his home. Read more about Brad.
