The Southwest Minnesota
Foundation has partnered with the Valspar Foundation’s
“Minnesota Beautiful” program for the past seven
years to provide grants of paint and coatings for community
improvement projects in southwest Minnesota. Projects receiving
grants this year include:

Threshing Show ? interior and exterior painting
of historical buildings. |

? interior painting of gymnasium surfaces at BARC, a
former school that now serves as a community-gathering
center. |

Blue Mound Area Theater, Luverne
? painting of various parts of the theater, which was

Volstead House, Granite Falls
