Loans

The Southwest Minnesota Foundation's Loan Programs are about creating a vibrant economy, providing quality employment opportunities, nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit, and improving the quality of life in southwest Minnesota. They are one of the many ways the Foundation accomplishes its mission of facilitating opportunities for economic, social and cultural growth. 

In 2005, the Foundation awarded a total of 28 loans to businesses located in 12 of the 18 southwest Minnesota counties. The Foundation assisted a wide variety of businesses ranging from an ethnic grocery store to housing complexes and manufacturing and service industries. These loans helped create or sustain nearly 107 jobs.

Our loans are another tool we use to "grow home."
