It’s time to cheer for one of southwest Minnesota’s great technology companies! Willmar-based Nova-Tech Engineering, whose products have revolutionized the poultry hatching industry, received the 2011 Tekne Award Thursday, Nov. 3.
This award began in 2000 and is given by the Minnesota High Tech Association to honor companies, innovations and individuals that positively impact Minnesota’s technology-based economy. We congratulate president Jim Seiben and all of Nova-Tech for this well-deserved accomplishment.
This company started as a two-person company and today employs well over 100. In addition, they were a founding partner in purchasing and developing the MinnWest Technology Campus, which is a huge asset to Willmar and our entire region. This is another great example of what makes southwest Minnesota, its businesses and its PEOPLE truly amazing!
