Regional performers and artists should submit audition by March 2 for consideration
The Southwest Initiative Foundation (SWIF) is seeking to showcase talented individuals or groups during the organization’s banquet the evening of Thursday, April 23, at Jackpot Junction in Morton.
Performers and artists of any age who live within SWIF’s 18-county service area are eligible to perform or display music, dance or artwork that represents the region’s rich and diverse culture during the event.
Individuals or groups interested in this opportunity and who are available the evening of April 23 should submit an audio or video audition of their proposed music or dance performance either electronically or through the mail. Photographs and a brief description of a proposed art exhibit are likewise required for consideration.

Performers and artists will be notified of their selection by March 30, 2009. Those selected will be given a $100 stipend to defray mileage and further their artistic endeavors and will receive a complementary dinner at the event.
