Latest technology allows business to handle large, complex printing projects
Matt Stark recently received loan assistance from the Southwest Initiative Foundation’s (SWIF) Microenterprise Loan Program to expand his business, Pro Color Graphics, which specializes in many areas of the design, printing and photography industries. The business offers full design services for anything from simple business cards to complex multi-page books. Pro Color Graphics also recently expanded into photography and offers full-service, in-house production for commercial, fine art, senior and family photography.
Pro Color Graphics has the latest equipment to print up to 53 inches wide on almost any material—including adhesive-backed vinyl, canvas and wall coverings—to complete the process for prints, signs, banners and more. The business also offers lamination up to 54 inches wide, adding abrasion and UV protection, as well as offering custom dry erase boards, rigid backing and adhesive coatings to most materials.
Stark received training from Ridgewater College, Willmar, and started this business, formerly Creative Concepts, in 2001. Pro Color Graphics is now located at 523 Litchfield Ave. SE in Willmar. Current business hours are 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Stark can be reached at 320-444-1494 or www.procolorgraphics.com.
“The Southwest Initiative Foundation has been a very big part in my success,” Stark said. “The knowledge and resources that they have to offer go above and beyond what you would expect. I would highly recommend them and their amazing staff to anyone.”
Proceeds from the loan will be used for inventory and working capital. SWIF’s Microenterprise Loan Program offers loans of up to $35,000 for starting or expanding for-profit small businesses located within the 18 counties of southwest Minnesota that have a need for additional sources of funds. In addition, technical assistance is available from SWIF as needed for the length of the loan. The program receives funding assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration, as well as from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
