I’m so proud of the many partnerships Southwest Initiative Foundation has built throughout the years that continue to impact the region. One in particular that stands out this week is with the Blandin Foundation. Even though they’re based in Grand Rapids, this organization plays a huge role in leadership throughout the state.
The Blandin Community Leadership Program is marking its 25th anniversary with regional gatherings and yesterday, about 60 BCLP alumni gathered in southwest Minnesota. I’m so grateful for the investment Blandin has made in the people of our region, which actually includes 600 BCLP alumni! We thank the entire group and all of BCLP’s leadership—past and present—for inspiring so many to make our communities stronger.
During the gathering, we focused on a number of trends that will impact our region’s future. Are you ready for a pop quiz? Enter your answers by adding a comment to this post. The answers will be posted next Friday, so be sure to check back!
