‘Resilient Leaders’ offered at no cost Sept. 21 in Redwood Falls
Area non-profit leaders are invited to attend a “Resilient Leaders—Resilient Organizations” event set for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 21, at the Redwood Area Community Center in Redwood Falls.
The event is offered at no cost to attendees and is sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation, in partnership with the Southwest Initiative Foundation, MAP for Nonprofits, Fieldstone Alliance and Nonprofits Assistance Fund. The goal of the session is to help nonprofit leaders increase their organization’s health and resiliency during an extended economic downturn.
The event will open with an interactive keynote presentation on resilient leadership presented by Jean Hammink, cofounder of insideoutcomes, a professional training and coaching organization.
Participants will then be able to attend three of five breakout sessions led by subject-area experts. The sessions are Governance, facilitated by Sherry Ristau, Southwest Initiative Foundation president/CEO; Financial Sustainability with Bob Bunger, HBH Consultants founding partner and principal; Realignment/Collaboration with Renee Oswald Anderson, Neighborhood House vice president of community building; Innovation and Technology led by Gordon Goodwin, Fieldstone Alliance principal consultant; and Social Media, facilitated by Steve Gasser, Vivid Image founder and president. The event will conclude with a preview of available capacity building resources.
The registration deadline is Sept. 11. To register or for more information, go to www.resilientnonprofits.org/convenings.
