Designated Funds

Designated Funds allow you to create a named, charitable fund that is permanently endowed and restricted for a specific purpose.

Often, that purpose is to support a particular charitable organization that has been important to you. Or, you may wish to support a school district to enhance the educational experience of students. A fund can also be created with a field of interest in mind, such as youth. Or, a designated fund can be advised by an individual or family (called a donor-advised fund) as a way to pass along your core values.

Tell us your idea and goals, and we’ll find the appropriate match for you.

Gifts to a fund at SWIF receive the highest possible charitable tax deduction.
