The Office of Willmar Community Growth invites you to their 2025 Willmar Martin Luther King Jr. Event on Monday, January 20 at 5:30 p.m. in the Ridgewater College Cafeteria.

The 2025 Willmar Martin Luther King Jr. Day honors the American civil rights leader who dedicated his life to achieving equality for all people. Dr. King’s message of peace and justice touched so many Americans, and it continues to inspire many people in our communities. All are welcome to join the event for a time to learn and be reminded of important American history, reflect on valuable teachings that are still meaningful today, and a call to action.

The event will feature:

• A presentation by Professor Debra Leigh
• A free meal
• Inspirational conversations
