Ricky is a Lead For Minnesota Fellow and will be serving in the Worthington community for two years in partnership with Kivu Immigration Law and Southwest Initiative Foundation. In his fellowship, Ricky is focusing on community outreach and building bridges between the immigrant community and Kivu Immigration Law.
Ricky was born in Houston, Texas, and attended Saint Leo University in Florida where he majored in political science and minored in legal studies and computer programming. Some of Ricky’s previous work experience includes serving as a legal assistant at an immigration law firm near the Texas-Mexico border, working as an IT Technician Intern for Yes Prep Public Schools and even as a member of two congressional campaigns.
